But how many Hertz Gold Points does it take to get one free day, or one free week? My beef is that Thrifty went from one free day for every 16 days' rental (which was awesome and why they were my preferred company), to, in my case at least, one free day for every 50-ish days' rental. Yes, I know it is price-dependant as pricier rentals will get you there faster, but I am using my usual pattern for comparison.

I still like them best because of price, which is my overriding factor when choosing a company, but this new system sucks.
