Referring to my own post from last week, I had a call with a Hertz representative from San Jose (local station, not the airport). He told me, there will be some 2016 Buick Cascada convertibles in the fleet soon (or actually are already in the fleet). We were talking about the standard convertible class (Group U, STAR, Camaro or similar).

Coming back to my own question: I've just booked a convertible (Group U, STAR, Camaro or similar) for 16 days in July in a small, local Hertz station in the Silicon Valley. I'd love to get a Mustang (preferably a 2.3 EcoBoost due to my 2800 miles ride). What are my chances to get one? I really dislike the Camaro. The option to reserve a specific car (the Mustang) was not available at the location (neither at any other locations nearby, even SFO). Is there anything I could do to increase my chances for a Mustang?
