Condolences to those who have had things stolen. Most unfortunate.

I've been guilty of being too trusting in the past, but as of late, I have started to use hotel safes for my valuables regularly. Luckily, I typically travel with just an iPad Pro so it fits easily in most safes.

Luckily, all of my important electronics are traceable and have activation locks, and anything else other than important documents isn't particularly valuable or visibly desirable.

But this should be a good reminder to utilize safes when possible.
