The short answer is yes, the long answer is "yes, unless you were hoping to qualify based on spend" - although I doubt many people are hitting gold through $7,500 of spend (or $12k for diamond) without also doing at least the commensurate number of stays and/or nights. (It'd be an average spend of $200+/night or $400/stay for a diamond to hit on both at once - so if you're falling short of the nights/stays then you need to increase those amounts proportionately).

Even then, incidental spend may count in DT/Hilton/Conrad/WA properties.
