I can see the headlines (and a picture of a glum faced family) in the Daily Mail now because somebody will get refused entry to Australia because they applied for the wrong eTA.
EU citizens actually need an eVisitor for Australia, not an ETA, which they are not eligible for (and requires payment unless processed by a travel agent).
Though this just makes it more confusing. The difference is that the eVisitor is free because the EU lets Aussies in for free.
