o My Booking to get 4x BA credits uses LHR-MAN HBO fare (rtn), followed by LHR-AMS rtn
o I have not flown domestic MAN-LHR for 4years and last was on Virgin Atlantic, although I have more recent KL AMS-MAN-AMS which requires immigration.
o Not aware if my domestic MAN arrival then departure requires exiting airside or if airside transfer option exists.??
o Not sure about how Domestic MAN-LHR to International LHR-AMS transfer works at T5 LHR?? Never needed transfer at LHR from domestic flight before!

Airside transfer does exist in MAN, but no one really does it (at least off a BA flight). If you arrive at gate 18 (disembark into a general departure area rather than stairs/baggage claim directly) then turn right and talk to the agent, you need to get put on the biometric system. If 141/142/143 then again talk to the agent at the top of the jetbridge. Honestly with that amount of time between flights I'd just go landside and save the hassle, you'll be landside within two minutes maximum and it takes about 10 minutes to get back airside.

When you arrive at LHR, just follow the signs to flight conenctions, you'll get a BP Check, go up an escalator, and there you are near Boots at the North end of T5A. That's it!
