Besides, this issue is going to surface one way or the other due to the divergence in the definition of marriage between the U.S. and Canada, so we might just as well deal with it now. As to the PR pigs comments, well, insults do not make your arguments any more convincing, it only lowers your prestige. These two men do not need any more PR than they already got - for the record, their marriage case were at heart of the recent progress in gay rights in Canada. Nobody was obliged to put themselves in front of camera like they did but I respect them for their courage to do something they trully believe in at the expense of their privacy. It's very tough. To me, it seems some people would dimiss them just as they would dimiss those drag queens back in the 70's calling them, you name it, queenies, abberations for the community. But none of this is true nor deserving. Without them, where do you think the progress started? It's ungrateful and outright stupid to suggest and it certainly isn't by the so called 'straight acting' that some like to make themsevles belive they are (more like trying to fool themselves just so they can feel superior) that have made the advancements of gay rights possible today.
