BA is quite unique where they will upgrade your booking class into a business booking class. Qatar as far as I know does not do this so you will only earn what your original booking gives. Qatar website states:
Qmiles / Qpoints earned or accrued in Qatar Airways Privilege Club programme will be based on the original booking class, not the upgraded booking class
