The 777 used by the competition has a much more updated/modern cabin even though it is not 1-2-1 as DL uses on their 777. To be honest, Delta's 777 J cabin is tired... the seats are at an awkward angle especially if traveling with someone, and they are worn and not as comfortable any more. Even though you could lose direct aisle access, you get a more comfortable seat with more work space on the QR 777 and likely better service.

I think DL will have a hard time commanding a price premium for their product.
