1. Early Sept 16 you will be promoted to Gold, on Nov 16 your status will be renewed until Nov 17.

2. No. Only flights after renewal (in your case after Nov 16) count for next period.

3. This year all my upgraded flights have posted automatically within 3 days, last year I had to call CS to get them but it wasn't hard and took only 2-3 days extra.
