Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked a cheapest advance rate, and received a room on high floor with view over the marina/Mas museum

How are the rooms?
Typical renovated HIX room: small, basic, but perfectly clean and well maintained.
Flat screen television with large selection of international channels
Very quiet
Bathroom with shower.

How is the Executive Lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
Good:
  • Very friendly staff
  • Pretty good breakfast (fresh fruits, pastries, ham and cheese, eggs, espresso coffee machine, etc.)
  • Quite central location : 5 minutes walk to the new superb MAS museum, very pleasant new district with lots of cafés and restaurants,
  • Rent a bike stations next to the hotel (you should buy a pass next to the central Tourist office or online)
  • Little shop corner next to check-in where you may buy drinks and food (a microwave is at guest'sdisposal).

Bad
Best advance rate was 25% more expensive than best flexible rate at check-in time

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
The right choice if you have no car and want to visit to trendy Antwerp by walking
The hotel is more expensive than CP, but location is definitely more central. If you are looking for a more luxurious accommodation, you’d better book CP
