I do not think either of them will end up buying a stake in Avianca, but I would think UA would buy over DL because of strategic reasons. Does DL need Avianca, Gol and Aeromexico stakes? Also, I think DL would try to move Avianca to Skyteam, and UA knows *A needs a member from Latin America.
