Has anyone found that increasingly those low fare alerts from air nz are just computer generated click bait to make you go to their website? They will send you an alert saying for e.g. that AKL-SFO, as this morning, is $377 one way, but when you go through there is virtually no availability and the return fare brings you back to the normal price. Those low fare alerts are BS, I'd like to know if anyone actually scored a cheap flight off them. They need to have the option of low fare return flights, not just one way.
