In my quest to divest myself of everything Hilton, we're going to spend 4 nights at the Hamaca Coral By Hilton in Boca Chica.

I hear that Boca Chica itself is a popular area for gays. Is that true? If so, where?

Also, should we rent a car to get around? Is there a reason to have one?

I know nothing about the DR, so any input would be greatly appreciated.
