Pretty hefty penalty to change the ticket at this point to extend layover in DXB. Did I really screw up and should I suck up the change fee and hotel night in favor of a longer layover in DXB?
1.5 hours is enough for transit (maybe no duty free shopping and limited time in the lounge), if your flight to DXB is delayed and you miss your connection, they will rebook you to the next flight and pay a hotel (if it is more than 6h)
