AA is doing the same thing by opening up their flagship lounges to business class pax. It's almost like the LH Business/Senator lounge concept but reversed. Status based access to the regular J lounge and their own pax, an exclusive super J lounge.
They probably can break down how many passengers enter lounges via membership/CC, *G (including UA *G), Club Passes & Long Haul J. My guess is UC overcrowding is not because of F/J Passengers.
Its an easy filter. The question is will they open it to F/J only, or include any International GS/1ks. My guess is, if *A ever got a tier above *G, these lounges would be used for that.
