This happened to me as well, travelling from OSL-DOH. Well, when I say ran out, I got the last one as my first drink after take off, had to slum it with a G&T instead

My last trip we got talking to the crew at the bar on the 380 heading to BKK, they mentioned certain drinks seem to run out more quickly in business, and they always run out of Wine on CDG flights!
