I have a much smaller sample size.
Family members ranging from no status to SE, 100% eup success rate from PY on AC7/8 on at least 16 flights, including twice 4 people clearing on 1 flight. Usually cleared at the gate, and we usually got the last remaining seats (PY + luck I think).
This is on the 777HD pre-refurb though, and there are now fewer J seats.
No experience on AC 15/16.
