Oh I failed to notice you're transiting the US. You have to go through immigration/bag collection/recheck because 'murica regardless of what the airline do. Even with bags tagged and BPs you'd still have to do this.
But stupid they can't at least get seat assignments.
Only for some airports, but that still shouldn't stop the whole checking bags wth the 3 legs of tags and sorting the Swiss flights.
Anyway, arrived at Boston, got bags, went to check-in and there was a webcheck (bag drop) desk for this flight! Cute
