I think I read somewhere on here that these sorts of multicity trips weren't eligible for a free change of time on the day, but I honestly can't remember for sure. Is that correct? I'm booked on the final LHR-ARN of the day, which is manageable, but i'd much rather catch the one (3 hours) before (which was nearly double the price). I'm travelling on my own, so will only be looking for a single seat on the earlier (and I presume busier) service.

When I click on "Change date/time of my flight" is says "We are very sorry that we cannot process this request on ba.com because the journey includes a surface sector. Please call your local British Airways office to change this booking".

Have I paid for a "Plus" fare without the associated benefits? Or will a phone call on the day of departure get me moved for free? I made the booking just now, so I can call tomorrow and ask someone to check the T&C, and put in a note that it should be "Plus", ergo, flexible?

Thanks!
Just to note, if you call and ask they are likely to say no purely because not a huge number understand the new fares and it isn't written in the fare rules. On phone at the moment so can't dig up the original thread, but have a look on there for the PDF with the full rules
