Agreed. I too normally fly OW or *A carriers but sometimes take a LCC including RyanAir and EasyJet.

You just have to accept that their processes and timings are for their convenience not yours then everything is put in context. Think of the money you are saving and you'll feel better about the whole thing.

I must say the bright yellow and blue cabin interior cheapens the whole experience and I'm not sure why it's necessary.
