As for the hotel choice, I've stayed at the Ritz, and well it is nice and the price is right, I found their level of service to be quite below "normal" Ritz standards.

Personally, I think the JW Marriott (it's right next to the Ritz) or the Regent (just down the street) might be better choices. Compared to the other two, though, the Ritz is much newer and less "worn" looking.

I'm headed to KL in a couple weeks and am actually trying their newest 5 star--the Price. It's totally set up for biz travel (wireless broadband in all the public areas and broadband in all the guest rooms/apartments), and looks pretty nice. Check out www.pricehotelkl.com for more info. It's located, though in a different area of town, being right near the Petronas towers and the KLCC shopping center.
