I made it. We departed at the revised time and gained back >30 min during the flight. Lessons learned:

- CX can turn around a widebody in ~90 min. The agent said she once saw a 747 turned around in 60 min.
- Jet streams weren't bad and the pilots know many people are making a connection. - So they will gun the plane.
- Try to keep a 3h connection. - But if I had to do this again, I would, since it's a 1/day flight.
