Josh, Sweetspot upgrades can't be used on UA Z fares but you can earn miles. UA Z class = discounted business class on UA. Keep in mind that AC Z class is not equivalent to UA Z class.</font>
But what if I just send UA the boarding pass and ticket - will they credit it?
