Which airline gives best value in terms of transfer of miles? Thanks a lot in advance.

Once the miles are earned on an airline, you can't transfer them to another airline.
However, you can chose to earn directly with Thai or Singapore.

Awards are available for all three for the same Star Alliance flights. But there are differences in earning and spending rates. If you are planning to use the miles for upgrades, you basically need to earn them in the program of the airline where you want to upgrade the flights.
