This is why you never say "I want to close the account" unless that's the result you want. Better: "I'm trying to decide whether to close my close my account" or "I'm thinking of closing my account."
While it's a great advice at the moment, it's rather irresponsible to accent it with "never" in bold. The best practices can change at any time, and the above advice would've been false just a few months ago.
