I really hope the same thing doesn't happen with the Premiere card. We hit the spend on May 15, and the first statement closes May 26. I need the points to earn my Companion Pass for our July trip. I've already given up 6 months of CP status because we couldn't decide whether to try for it this year or not. I'm going to be so bummed if we don't earn the pass in time for our summer trips, just because the bonus points didn't post until the second statement.
I feel the same way as both of you and have had the same experience. Met requirements 5 days before second statement and only one card bonus posted. Called Chase and they said the second card bonus would post next statement. Kinda nervous about it until then.

But I previously have received more than 50,000 points from Chase card referrals (across SWA Plus and SWA Premier), so I don't know if the limit is actually applied in practice or if the limits have changed recently. FYI, I couldn't find my old flyer from Dec/January but from reading the current language just now I do think the "Terms" language changed around March or April of this year. I just read the latest language and I think it is stricter than before. It clearly says this:

"You may earn bonus points up to the stated maximum for each offer, however, please note that if you take advantage of multiple opportunities within one calendar year that the maximum number of bonus points that can be awarded from all referral offers is 50,000 per calendar year." (This was taken from the SWA PLUS Refer-a-Friend FAQ)

So it seems clear to me from the current language that the limit is 50,000 across all Chase referral programs (within a calendar year).
I called Chase and they said it was independent of each account. This was just a customer rep but she did ask her supervisor and the supervisor provided the answer. So who knows I guess only one way to find out.
