For a ticket issued through a TA, is it possible for me to make the change directly with the ticketing airline pre departure? Have an ex NRT ticket issued by a very useless TA (Co policy). In the past they have managed to complicate even the simplest requests/instruction and even gave wrong info, so am keen to to avoid any dealing with them when possible, not to mention possible extra cost. Now, i just realized that 1 segment i'm flying on AY metal is actually a code share with BA and would like to change the flight code to BA if possible as BA flights accumulate double mileage on JL mileage program. Getting BA coded flight itself should be ok as I would be flying on BA on the preceding segment. I would like to contact JL as the ticketing carrier to change the code, but would this be possible or would i have to go through my useless TA? TIA
