Parents going OSL-EWR-onwards with a 1 hr 43 min connection in EWR. OSL-EWR flight arrives at 1:45pm.

Mother is non-US-citizen, father is US citizen. No global entry or anything like that, and no precheck.

Is this connection doable or is it at real risk? I am debating calling UA for them and asking for them to be on a later flight onwards from EWR.
