I have not once had meal service domestically on a 788 that served meals in a horshoe pattern (or any widebody for that matter)
My data points for international flights is quite small, but still. Front to back.
The horseshoe pattern is reliable on domestic 787-8s. I have dozens of domestic segments on this bird.
