Stupid that my non-status (upped to Silver) family member can get 50,000 bonus miles on $2,500 PQD.
I can't believe how terrible UA is at rewarding HVF's... set the bar just too high to get rewarded.
My bet based on the way they did this is that they calculated my estimated spend at the end of the year, and are pushing me to spend an extra $10,000 or so in exchange for 214,000 award miles.
UA just tried to implement a quick algorithm that is ludicrous.
