FYI, I did end up asking 1Kvoice for a RPU or GPU as a goodwill gesture for this 1K given my negative feelings about the Premier Giveaway program. I was flatly turned down. Not that I really needed or could even use a GPU, but surprised that they would not even consider it.
I haven't received or asked for anything but I did have an interesting conversation with an Executive Care specialist. He confirmed that the "promo 1Ks" (his term) are indistinguishable from the standard 1Ks to the front line employees. The ONLY difference between the two is the GPU/RPU earning.They have access to the same award seats, Y/B/M upgrades, CPUs etc as the rest of us do. I'm not breaking any news here but it was interesting to hear it from the horses mouth , so to speak.
