I have booked PE class K tickets to ORD, but have just realised class K is not upgradable

is there anyway I can change to an upgradable class? without paying for a whole new ticket

As its not upgradable does that include upgrading via cash upgrade as well (rather than miles?)

I booked via expedia not direct with Virgin if it makes any difference
