Thanks for the heads-up, I will be sure to give ourselves extra time to our destinations. 1 good thing about Hokkaido (from my research) is it is not as populated as other Japanese islands and there are loads of attractions, a little bit of everything for everyone, if you will, so I hope the island is not bombarded with locals and tourists when we go there
