No, in fact it's not clear even
who gets the 2000
miles version. I'm RewardsPlus, but from Marriott side (ie, Marriott Plat/UA Silver), and I have the Marriott credit card too, and I got the version with 12,000 points period (phrased 10,000 points plus 2,000 more points) for having the credit card.
So it's not necessarily as simple as being RewardsPlus. Maybe it's being RewardsPlus and not having the Marriott credit card, or maybe it's being RewardsPlus from the UA side as opposed to from the Marriott side?
Plus, the RewardsPlus version sounds very confusing. You get 2000 bonus miles, but only if you earn points?
