From the sounds of it, LCY, or perhaps the Embraers in general, are not that well setup for lift-support.

However, hopefully my Grandmother can make it up the few steps to the aircraft with the help of her carer - and possibly someone from the support team.

I'll give LCY a call directly a couple of days before (great idea) and make sure everything is at least clear on their end.
