Yes it does in that scenario. It sometimes takes a day or two longer, but this, along with passengers of limited mobility, does give pre-flight seating allocations.
I've just logged in and it's showing 4 allocated seats. Funnily enough one pair is the children and the other is me and my husband. I've also been able to change the seats at no charge which I wasn't able to do on previous bookings, although this is my first trip as bronze.
