Until the recent changes to HBO, I always got my preference.

Now, I'm getting the exact opposite, even on planes that are half-full.

On an hour-long domestic flight I don't care too much, but I have noticed what the OP has noticed. I'm sure it is pure coincidence.

I might also have a little experiment with the algorithm!
