I was there in mid-Feb last. At 8:12pm, there were still folks in the pre-line, but blue coat was shooing everyone coming down the escalator back up and to C-1. I was going to walk past them, but wife was already halfway back up. Was about a 20 minute wait - lots of FFs fuming on the way to and in C-1 (including me), which was the sole line open at EWR. Took us about 15-20 minutes to get through - though I now realize apparently that's not bad at all.

I do wish TSA would publish the open times of pre at the various airports/terminals - and also, they or the airlines could post the times of the elite lines - at least people could prepare then.
