Should be a simple one, but if I'm BAEC silver but don't add my BAEC number to a BA booking, can I still use the lounge?

Basically I'll hit silver half way through my membership year but have zero chance of making gold. So I want to hold my tier points back and claim them next year (within six months of the flight) so I'd get a headstart on retaining next year.

Does the mobile app being silver let me in even if the booking isn't accociated with my BAEC account?
