Seven killed in bus crash in Phetchaburi

Seven passengers were killed and 20 others injured when the double-deck bus they travelled in rammed a roadside power post and overturned on Phetkasem highway in Muang district of Phetchaburi before dawn today.
The incident happened at 3 am Monday morning.

The bus belongs to Choke-anand Tour. It was taking about 40 passengers from Chumphon to Bangkok.

Highway police said the incident happened while it was raining.

The bus driver might not be accustomed to the highway which is slippery when there was rain.
