Prefer the 190 on BACF, primarily because of 2CD with the massive amounts of legroom mentioned above, but compared to A320 family yes, 170s and 190s are both fantastic. Wider seats with more generous legroom, and there's a lot more of an intimate feel on board with just the 2 crew and often fairly quiet flights (see below pics - the gate photo was the extent of the passengers and I was pretty much the only one at the front!).

Only disadvantage is the 2x2 layout for CE pax. Thankfully I'm usually LCY-GLA anyway so there is no CE - definitely better than A320 shorthaul otherwise though.
