Nope, I didn't expect them to bring me from LHR to the hotel, but had thought the next morning they would bring me from the hotel to LHR...but no.
"American has labeled this ticket as a connection, and limo service is not available on connections." Best part was, when I asked what could be done "Call American Airlines and tell them not to code this as a transit, they will be familiar, they do this all the time."
Can you just see: "Hey, American...you coded my flight as a connection so Etihad won't give me a driver from my hotel in London...can you do something about that?"
Sure we can...and then we will bill this as two awards, CDG-LHR and LHR-AUH...
