Please help with deciding between ICN 1800/ YYZ 1750; or
ICN 1515/YVR 0905, connecting to YVR 1045/ YYZ 1810

All flights will be on AC's 789 business class. Why not direct? Because breaking up the 13 hours flight into 10+4.5 hours may be good for my body circulation, and facing YVR's immigration/customs is now more manageable with the kiosk. I wonder if the same aircraft is used for the indirect flights, such that there's low risk of misconnect?

I will not consider KE or CX for now, and don't want to transit via the U.S.

On the return to ICN, I kind of dread the 14 hours direct flight, but it's probably better than leaving YYZ early and connecting in YVR.

Any difference in service, meals etc that is not obvious? Your thoughts would be much appreciated!
