Change of passport number is quite normal. I lost my passport 3 days before my travel and i got an emergency passport the next day. Used it without any issues. Just note that you might have to register your new passport number with the authorities (ICA for me as am a foreigner) if you have to use the automated clearance. And always bring your old passport, even if you don't have any visas that are valid.
