According to the travel agent the P fare code on LOT is fully refundable.
So am I able to cancel the final segment of my trip? That would be BCN -WAW - ORD on a P fare. I was thinking if they give me trouble to take my first flight then cancel when I get to Istanbul. Any advise?
By the way, any word if Lufthansa and LOT are going to integrate their reservation systems a little better? Still seems like they are separate airlines. thanks
You have to contact your booking office that issued the tickets (airline / travel agent).
Every fare has it's own rules and with your information given it's not possible to give you a binding answer.
If the fare is fully flexible and refundable, you could change your round trip into a oneway ticket. But keep in mind that oneway fares often were more expensive than a half round trip fare...
Once again, contact the booking office for more details (humans and not internet buttons

)!
