We were at Baros last 4th of July and had great weather, and crystal clear water for 4 days, a few rain showers, but mostly sun. Just came back from 5 days there last week and had below average weather with heavy wind, cloudy water at times and thunderstorms every night. You can only hope for the best but even with the less than ideal weather it's still a beautiful place to visit.
One thing to consider is the room type- we were in an overwater villa with pool both stays and the pool was unusable last week as the overcast weather kept the temperature well below a comfortable temperature for relaxing in it. Additionally the direction of the winds made snorkeling from our balcony not very enjoyable as we had to fight a lot of wind/chop to get anywhere.
If the weather is a concern, maybe factor in the room type- we would have probably enjoyed a beach villa much more given the weather we had last week.
