Thank you all again! You have given me so much great info! It sounds like we should rent a car for some day trips, so I am wondering if they just accept US drivers license? (We live in Ohio in the US).
Also, that you for the details explaining the flights. I think we will likely be flying over on Delta and KLM, so I am wondering if I should try to figure put the open-jaw trip (as suggested by JBord) by contacting the airline directly? You all think that I probably do not need a travel agent, do you have any suggestions (websites?) on the best way for me to figure out the air, train and rental car travel on my own?
