That's a good idea. So in that scenario, I'd cancel my Sapphire preferred and keep Ink, Freedom and Chase Unlimited? Put cell phone, cable and office stuff on Ink. 5x categories on Freedom, and everything else on Unlimited? And just not use the Citi Double?

Also - I think I saw, where I can combine unlimited points from my sapphire preferred to my Ink? Is that correct? And I think I saw that I can combine points with my spouse? I don't see that option online - maybe I have to call?

For the vacation - I think we'd lean towards caribbean/tropical. The airfare is really easy - it's just trying to work out the hotel that's been really difficult.
