Has DFW TSA lines been as outrageously long as what the news has been reporting for O'Hare and other airports? On May 24, I'm flying DFW-LHR in F on AA and am wondering how long I need to plan for TSA. FWIW, I have Pre-Check, am AA Plat & flying international F.

It's difficult to advise because the queues are dynamic, the TSA may arbitrarily choose to close a PreCheck queue, etc. High demand (Monday morning, Thursday and Friday afternoon, etc.) will be more congested.

You can try D-30, which iirc has PreCheck, and if it seems too clogged move to ~D-15. But I'd check for times using the Internet. And check in early - you can spend time in the FFW D Club and visit Flagship Dining.

It's also worse at DFW because of all airports that should have Flagship Check-in, DFW notably doesn't. If you were checking in at JFK, LAX, MIA, ORD ID recommend that to you.

Do you have an app?

For Apple, many seem to be praising MiFlight.

You can also use http://apps.tsa.dhs.gov/mytsa/wait_times_home.aspx

We will merge this into the "sticky" thread dealing with this topic. /Moderator
